Baking Day

I had to work all weekend. Working all weekend is pretty lousy (I did get to have dinner with friends, which was lovely) . However, I still got my weekend bake day. I try to bake every weekend. This week I have a new kerchief (courtesy of a good friend from Japan) to keep my unruly hair out of my face.

Just call me the lucky cat bakery.










This week the zucchini plague has begun in our CSA (you know the one, the zucchini's start producing, and soon you are sneaking them into your neighbors mailbox to get rid of them) so I made zucchini bread. I also made my stock sandwich bread, just a Betty Crocker recipe, but it comes out delicious. This is one of the best batches yet.
