After wandering up and down these paths for a while came to a huge open plaza.
I don't know if you can see it in the picture, but the edges of the plaza are entirely made of mosaic covered benches, they're pretty cool. We found a path leading down from the plaza back towards the entrance and found this:
This is the underside of that big plaza. The entire thing is held up by these mammoth columns with this huge mosaic ceiling it was awesome. We also found my absolute favorite Gaudi piece of all time:
The leaning corridor. I just love it, the way the light plays through it etc.
From the park we wandered back down to the main part of the city to look at a few of the Gaudi houses. They are pretty impressive, but we decided not to go in.
The following day was the start of the conference. The conference was at this huge center at the base of Montjuic, the "mountain" over looking the city. But I will post about those later today or tomorrow (really, I promise...)
