Urban Wildlife

Sometime's Miami likes to send you a little message that, living here, you're not in Kansas anymore. This morning was one of those times. We've got good urban wildlife here, not just possums, rats and raccoons. I took this photo this morning from my garden. That's a blue and gold macaw. There were two of them, but one took off as I was retrieving my camera.

Speaking of Garden. Our little plants are doing really well.
Actually, I guess there not so little any more. We've got a ripe tomato, and a bell pepper that will be ready in a matter of days. And lots and lots of bok choy.

If only the weather would stay nice and cool for a while longer. I want cool weather to finish knitting a sweater (What?!? I'll need it shortly, when we return to the great Pacific Northwest...).
